Membership of World Young Entrepreneurs Council

WYEC membership is available to founders, business owners and next-generation enterprise leaders aged 18 to 45 who meet the Council's published eligibility and verification requirements.

Eligibility

Who can apply

Applicants must be 18 to 45 at submission, lead an active registered enterprise and hold ownership or final operating responsibility. The enterprise must normally have traded for at least 12 months and meet at least one operating-scale test.

  • US$100,000 or more in annual revenue;
  • US$250,000 or more in external equity funding;
  • five or more full-time employees; or
  • independently verifiable commercial intellectual property, licensing or sustained market traction.

Applicants must also identify their primary operating region and document the relevant country connection through nationality, residence, company registration or material operating responsibility.

Fees are stated in US dollars and billed annually after approval. Travel, accommodation, trade missions, event registration and third-party professional services are charged separately where applicable.

  • Represent membership accurately and use the Council's identity only as authorised.

Who can apply to World Young Entrepreneurs Council?

Founders, business owners and next-generation enterprise leaders aged 18 to 45 may apply if they meet the published enterprise, regional affiliation and verification requirements.

Who decides whether an applicant is admitted?

Authorised reviewers assess each application against the published membership criteria. Payment has no role in the admission decision.

When are annual membership fees paid?

Annual fees are invoiced only after an application has been verified and approved and the applicable membership terms have been accepted.

Can a company hold more than one membership seat?

Company and Enterprise plans provide multiple verified seats. Every proposed seat holder must meet the personal eligibility and conduct requirements.
